'Dog to Face' is an exploration of trauma and loss through the grotesque. The show comprises four paintings depicting truculent figures engaging in a range of playfulness, intimacy, and violence. Sou references the traditional Korean folk wrestling called 씨름 (ssireum) as a body's visual language. The work explores the trauma in body and space through its composition and vibrant colors, depicting the visceral and the psychological.
