Volkswagen ID Connect is the concept of future Mobility for daily long-distance commutes between cities in 2050. The vehicle has both normal driving mode and autonomous mode, it is able to operate fully autonomously on the maglev sky-rail system at a high speed with charring along the way.

The mono-volume proportion provides maximum aerodynamic and spacious interior space. The lower window opening gives the passengers better visibility when the vehicle is running on the sky-rail on L5 autonomous mode.
